From the President
This year's Summit in Reno will be one of the most unique Summits NANPA has ever produced. It's not just that we changed the name of the event to Nature Photography Summit to better reflect our offerings, but also that we have decided to add more value and networking opportunities to the revamped schedule. The Summit will hold many firsts
a new question and answer session following each keynote presentation;
special vendor presentations that will be held simultaneously with the breakouts, giving you the opportunity to hear about some of the latest products on the market and how they work; and
a new Workshop Weekend - where you will be able to learn about specific subjects in a more focused way.
Of course, this will take place in Reno, Nevada, where the sun shines for over 300 days of the year. The John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino Resort is looking forward to our stay and will be providing free internet, free parking, and an airport shuttle service, as well as green practices throughout the property. I hope to meet you at the Welcome Reception Tuesday evening - one of the best places to start networking. You may have met many NANPA members online, but the Summit--and the Welcome Reception in particular--is your chance to meet them face-to-face. I look forward to seeing you in Reno!
Who Should Attend
NANPA's Nature Photography Summit is the premiere nature photography conference in North America. Its presentations, workshops, reviews and other scheduled events follow NANPA's mission of education and inspiration for everyone interested in nature photography. Further, the Summit has become an important forum for networking. If you like nature photography, you'll like our 16th Annual Summit!
