KEY01 - Nursing in Africa: Beyond HIV/AIDS and into Chronic Care
Mar 28, 2008
7:00 PM
| |
This presentation will discuss why a horizontal instead of vertical, disease-oriented approach to addressing global health problems is needed. Since most individuals experience a complex of conditions, and chronic care needs are rapidly growing, attention is needed for health care system approaches that focus on preventive, long-term, and sustainable efforts to improve global health.
