The AAPB 43rd Annual Meeting is being held in Baltimore, Maryland at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore on the Inner Harbor, March 8-10, 2012. Workshops will be March 7-8, 2012. The theme for this years meeting is "Evoking Human Potential."

2012 Annual Meeting highlights include:

  • THREE Keynote Sessions featuring Christine S. Moravec, PhD; Yuval Neria, PhD; and John B. Charles, PhD
  • Pre-Conference Workshops on Wednesday, March 7 – Thursday, March 8, 2012
  • Conference Breakout Session highlighting new and exciting developments, while reviewing the basics, in psychophysiology and biofeedback brought to you by the brightest minds in the industry
  • NEW Gaming Corner will host demonstrations of a variety of hybrid biofeedback-gaming systems. Presenters will explain each game system and audience volunteers will have the opportunity to play the games. The Corner is designed to entertain as well as to stimulate thinking about new forms that tomorrow's biofeedback technologies might take.
  • Fundraising Events benefiting the Foundation for Education and Research in Biofeedback and Related Sciences (FERB)
  • Section and Division meetings to connect you with colleagues in your specialized area of interest

Room Rates
AAPB has reserved a block of sleeping rooms at a discounted rate. This allows AAPB the use of the meeting and exhibit space at a great discount. Your support in staying at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore helps to keep AAPB’s meeting and membership costs down. The discounted rate for the Annual Meeting is $175 for single/double occupancy plus applicable taxes. To receive this special rate, you must identify yourself as an AAPB attendee. Please be sure to book your rooms early as we only have a certain number of rooms available.

Changes and Cancellations
All changes or cancellations must be made directly with the Hyatt Regency Baltimore.

If you are a health care professional, researcher, student, or simply a person who is interested in biofeedback as a safe, research-based alternative to traditional drug therapies, you will want to attend AAPB’s Biofeedback Day.  There are many events planned to teach you about biofeedback and how it can be used in clinical practice, what the research says, how you can add this modality to your current or anticipated career path, or even how biofeedback may be used to enhance your personal health goals.


How to register:

  • Online with a credit card. Confirmations will be sent by e-mail.
  • Fax the registration form to 303.422.8894 with payment.
  • Mail the registration form and payment to: AAPB, 10200 W. 44th Ave, Suite 304, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033

Cancellations received in the AAPB office by February 10, 2012 will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to 303.422.8894 or emailed to aapb@resourcenter.com. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.

Airport Shuttle Options
Take advantage of Super Shuttle’s service to drive you to the downtown Baltimore hotel and back to the airport.  Pick-up is every 30 minutes at the ground transportation desk (baggage claim areas 3, 4 and 5).  Look for the blue vans with yellow lettering saying Super Shuttle.

Service is available on a first come, first serve basis from the lower level curb of all terminals. All taxis are metered. Approximate cost from Baltimore-Washington International Airport to Hyatt Regency Baltimore is $35.00.
