· Research FUNdraiser & Talent Show
	Don't miss the FUNdraiser, Talent Show, and Silent Auction grand opening on Saturday, March 28th! This year, we are excited to offer a "madeover" event and a delightful evening filled with fun and entertainment. First, the Silent Auction will open and you will have the first opportunity to bid on items such as jewelry, gift baskets, and gift certificates. You can view the items ahead of time online and come prepared to make your bid! The evening will continue with dessert and snacks during the Talent Show. The scheduled performances include acts by: Case Western Reserve University Angela Barron McBride, PhD, RN, FAAN University of Kansas University of Michigan University of Minnesota University of Illinois at Chicago University of Nebraska Medical Center University of Indiana And finally, the evening will close with the Talent Show winner announced and presented with the travelling trophy! Individual tickets for this event are $50. Reserving a table for $500 also includes 8 tickets. You can also by a pack of 6 tickets for $250. Bring your friends and students - it's not to be missed! · NEW! Fun Event - Geocaching
	Get exercise, try something new, and have fun at the same time! The University of Minnesota School of Nursing is coordinating a Geocaching event to benefit the MNRS Foundation. Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. Local planning committee members Madeleine Kerr, Cathy Morrison, and Scott Harpin are organizing a team of geocaching guides with their GPS devices to share the sport with you. To begin, sign up for one of the geocaching sessions online or by phone (720.898.4831) through MNRS. The registration fee to participate is $25. You can sign up for Friday, March 27th 5:30pm to 6:30pm, or Saturday, March 28th 5:30pm to 6:30pm. You will also need to register for a free account at www.geocaching.com. In addition to traditional caches in Minneapolis, we will offer some MNRS-specific event caches. You and your fellow seekers will find prizes to be proudly displayed at the Saturday evening gala FUNdraiser. Join in the fun and help build the MNRS Foundation capacity to fund even more researchers!
