This webinar will discuss the use of telehealth technology is rapidly transforming healthcare. Nurses play a critical role in coordinating care, remote patient monitoring, and evaluation of health outcomes in these transformational care models. Additional research is needed to better understand how telehealth and use of telehealth technology can improve health outcomes, health care services, and reduce costs. This session will provide insight into the current and future use of telehealth and highlight research opportunities for nursing. 

Participants will: 

1) Review the state of telehealth and trends - uses for patient care, limitations, and future adoption 

2) Discuss body of evidence supporting telehealth use and its applicability to nursing research and practice
